Kishka Gallery & Library is a community-focused non-profit art space in White River Junction, VT that opened June 4, 2021. Our vision is to create a welcoming space with the aim of becoming an essential resource to the Upper Valley creative community. With a lending library of close to 1,000 art books and monthly exhibitions of contemporary artists, Kishka is a space for artists, art lovers, and those simply curious about contemporary art.

Our vision of the arts is one of inclusion and we are dedicated to exhibiting an array of artists diverse in both background and media. We are also a space committed to being active in the community, regularly presenting live performance art pieces, literary readings, and music. Kishka also has a small retail section, which includes a carefully curated group of art books, children’s books, prints and works on paper, and art objects.

Kishka is a go-to contemporary art space in the community. Our downtown location at 83 Gates Street in the White River Junction, Vermont is adjacent to Northern Stage in the heart of the Arts District. We believe that art is a central component of a healthy community. We look forward to providing Upper Valley residents a space for this resource, whether they are taking the first steps on an art appreciation journey or continuing to nourish a lifelong passion.
